Job summary
Seabury Corporate Finance a subsidiary of Seabury Capital Group is looking to hire an experienced Associate to join its dynamic investment banking team in NY.
The Associate is responsible for directing analysts on the analytical work in support of new business development and transaction execution. Seabury Corporate Finance believes in staffing deals with smaller teams, this structure creates a strong platform for Associates to learn and develop investment banking skills further and assume high level of responsibility at early stages of their careers. As part of the team, Associates will work on transactions that provide exposure to various clients in the Aviation, Aerospace and Defense industry and will develop skill sets in fundamentals of valuations, business strategy and client communications.
The environment at Seabury Capital Group is collegial and entrepreneurial, and as such Associates are encouraged to take on as much responsibility as they can successfully handle. Associates are expected to lead the preparation work on a variety of strategic advisory assignments including; sell-side and buy-side M&A engagements; divestitures and spin-off engagements; equity and equity-linked capital-raising; debt and restructuring advisory and, more broadly, evaluation of strategic alternatives. Additionally, Associates will have the opportunity to gain exposure to some of the firm’s merchant banking efforts.
Seabury’s investment banking business is global in nature and the Associate will be able to work on cross-border transactions in close concert with Seabury’s European team based in London.
