Seabury’s Fireside Chat with JetZero at 2025 Global Aerospace Summit

WASHINGTON, DC – September 9, 2025 – In a fireside chat during the U.S. Chamber of Commerce’s 2025 Global Aerospace Summit held in Washington, DC, John Luth, President and CEO of Seabury Capital Group, and Tom O’Leary, CEO and Co-Founder of JetZero, discussed the Blended Wing Body (“BWB”) aircraft design and its potential as the way forward for commercial airliners.

“As a new manufacturer, we had the advantage of a clean-sheet design, coupled with the use of the latest digital tools, to develop an innovative BWB structure that is lighter, requires less thrust, and cruises at a higher altitude. It’s the right aircraft at the right time that the market wants, offering the completely unmatched level of efficiency, where airlines can save up to 50% in fuel burn versus prior generation aircraft, and more seats and range than the largest and longest-range single-aisle aircraft you can buy today,” remarked O’Leary.

Luth pointed to the industry’s involvement in the design process as O’Leary explained that JetZero “created a 15+ member strong Airline Working Group – with many of the largest and most respected airlines participating” adding “it is incredibly valuable for us to have them contribute to the detailed design and operational aspects of the aircraft.”
