Paul Meyer will lead the recently annexed Executives in Residence team to offer a new and distinct approach to meeting the Aerospace & Defense (A&D) industry’s search for accelerated innovation and affordability across their enterprise.
“This is an exciting time to be part of a new beginning. The A&D industry is at an inflection point, where very specialized and experienced engineering skills are at an all-time premium as downsizing and an aging workforce has thinned the full time ranks of Industry,” said Seabury Global Aerospace & Defense Consulting Executive Vice President Paul Meyer. “What Seabury’s A&D consulting offers is an affordable and experienced core capability that is applied only when needed, providing efficiency and talent as required.”
Mr. Meyer joins SGA&DC after recently retiring from his position at Aerojet Rocketdyne as Senior Vice President of Advanced Programs and Business Development. Prior to Aerojet, Mr. Meyer was General Manager and Vice President of Northrop Grumman’s Advanced Programs & Technology Division. He has been extensively involved in the aerospace industry since 1986, including a range of program management and business development roles at Lockheed Martin Skunk Works.
“I welcome Paul to our leadership and I’m confident in his abilities to lead our team,” said Seabury Global Aerospace & Defense Consulting President and Chief Executive Officer Charles R. “CR” Davis a former Lt. Gen. (Ret.) of the Air Force and F-35 program executive and systems development center commander who was appointed President & Chief Executive Officer of SGA&DC in October of this year. “Paul’s deep industry experience will allow us to offer program capture strategy development, proposal preparation and review, integrated baseline development, program management structure and process implementation, systems engineering plans, manufacturing line development and support, flight test planning, product support strategy, as well as future R&D investments roadmap support.”
