New York – March 10, 2021 – The College of the Holy Cross opened this week its new recreation and wellness center, the Joanne Chouinard-Luth Recreation and Wellness Center (“The Jo”).
Construction of the building was made possible by a donation from Seabury Capital Group’s Chairman, President & CEO, John Luth ’74 and his wife, Joanne Chouinard-Luth, D.M.D., as part of the college’s Become More campaign.
“We are thrilled to see the completion of The Jo,” commented Joanne Chouinard-Luth and John Luth. “This facility will foster students’ holistic wellness and enhance the profile of well-being on campus, in line with the Jesuit educational mission to educate the whole person.”
The Jo will be home to all club and intramural sports, as well as recreation, fitness, as well as wellness programming for students, faculty, and staff.
